Education Perfect for the New Zealand Curriculum
Education Perfect (EP) offers supplementary teaching and learning resources for Years 4-13 of the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) in English, Maths, Science and a range of languages, including te reo MΔori and gagana SΔmoa.
EP also supports Social Sciences, with comprehensive coverage of Aotearoa NZβs Histories at Years 4-10 and supporting resources for ESOL and Health & PE.
As the NZC develops, EP will provide updated, Te MΔtaiaho-aligned resources rich in mΔtauranga MΔori, including NCEA.

- Resources that are aligned and updated to current curricula. This includes the Phases of learning for English, Maths and Aotearoa New Zealandβs Histories in Te MΔtaiaho and NCEA L1 English, Maths and Science
- Thematic Aotearoa-specific content, including lessons rich in mΔtauranga MΔori, written by kaiako MΔori, and texts from MΔori and Pasifika writers such as Tusiata Avia, Tayi Tibble and Airana Ngarewa
- Te Ao MΔori, a course that introduces learners to te reo and tikanga MΔori and Beginnersβ Samoan, new lessons on culture and gagana SΔmoa
- Learning Objectives that use the SOLO taxonomy, allowing for further differentiation within lessons
- Fully-customisable which allows for the inclusion of localised curricula
Customised experiences for students
The NZC has been going through constant change over the last three years. Rest assured, as the curricula for each of the learning areas roll out, EP will partner with academics and teachers to create a wide range of resources and assessment tools to support our schools. For the beginning of the 2026 school year, we have realigned existing content for English and Mathematics to help teachers plan for the transition to the new curriculum. To further aid teachers, we have arranged the resources according to the new curriculum structure and terminology (e.g. Year levels and strands) within the platform.
Maths teachers will be excited to know that EP has partnered with the Ministry of Education to provide all secondary schools across the motu with online resources for the critical Years 9 & 10. These resources will released in stages and eventually cover the Years 7 and 8 Maths curriculum, too.
