AI is showing up in more language classrooms every term, but not every tool is built with student safety, pedagogy, and accuracy in mind. Before adopting a new platform, teachers need a clear way to assess what’s behind the technology.

This printable checklist gives you the right questions to ask any EdTech provider about their AI, grouped into three areas that matter most: security and ethics, pedagogical impact, and content accuracy. Use it during procurement conversations, pilot reviews, or department-level decisions.
