The Ministry of Education New Zealand is providing access to Education Perfect for targeted support of Year 7 & 8 students who are not yet ready to access Phase 3 of Learning of the Maths and Statistics Learning area of the NZ Curriculum.
The Support will focus on accelerating learning in the following key areas to address foundational gaps in maths understanding.

Maximise Every Student’s Potential
Education Perfect Maths empowers educators with a rich integrated platform, which is aligned to the new curriculum, and supports instruction, practice, assessment and insights. Combined, this powers a differentiated and personalised teaching and learning cycle for teachers and students.

Do you have an informational session about EP where I can learn more about the platform?
Yes! While most schools are familiar with EP and have experience using our platform, EP has gone through a rapid period of innovation and we have some exciting new features recently released with more to come in 2026. All staff are encouraged to attend and learn what’s new at EP! Registration for the EP training and Webinars will be open soon and will be emailed directly to registered schools main contacts.
My school currently uses EP, how does the MAP fit?
In order to ensure a smooth and seamless program experience you will have a seperate EP school for the MAP with a class just for the students in the program. This separate school space will have the weekly activities assigned automatically. You can use both your normal school class and the MAP class by using the “Switch Schools” function in your profile menu.
What work will I need to assign for students?
Activities will be automatically assigned into the MAP schools space each week.
Where can I find opportunities to learn more about using Education Perfect in the classroom?
Throughout the year, EP will provide teachers with professional development opportunities that may be in person or virtual. Webinars are provided at the start of the Program to cover the specific requirements and provide Q&A opportunities. You will also have all the above resources available throughout the entire program alongside weekly emails from a dedicated EP contact.
