The Long-Term Value of EP in Schools

As educators head into their final term for 2025, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect, not just on what’s happening in current classrooms, but on how the tools we use shape our schools over time.

Education Perfect (EP) is more than a library of resources. For many schools, it has become a trusted companion; something that helps teachers and leaders navigate challenges, support students, and build a culture of continuous improvement.

Here are some of the ways schools in our community are seeing lasting value.

1. Making a Measurable Difference

At the end of the day, what matters most are the outcomes for teachers and students. Over time, schools using EP purposefully have noticed encouraging results:

  • Stronger student performance: Schools using EP regularly report stronger results in key learning areas, such as literacy, numeracy, and the sciences – particularly where EP has been embedded across multiple year levels.
  • Supporting equity and funding goals: EP’s differentiated learning features make it easy for educators to personalise student learning pathways, track progress, and gather evidence that supports your specific learning support and equity funding applications.
  • Curriculum confidence: With ongoing updates aligned to the latest curriculum requirements (including the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA changes, and Australian curriculum updates like QCAA), teachers can trust that their lessons align with the latest syllabus, without spending hours hunting down resources or creating them from scratch.

Teachers often sum it up best:

“Education Perfect is a responsive program that supports students through differentiated levels of learning and rewarding competitions,” says Michelle Kingston, from Central Coast Grammar School. “The immediate feedback and new introduction of AI assisted feedback is much appreciated.”

2. Lightening the Load for Teachers

Teacher workload is one of the biggest pressures schools face. EP isn’t a magic fix, but many teachers report it making a significant difference.

  • Automatic marking: A simple but powerful time-saver.
  • Continuity of learning: Relief teaching costs can spiral quickly. EP helps keep students engaged with meaningful work even when their usual teacher is away.
  • Clear insights: With EP’s reporting tools, teachers and school leaders can see progress at a glance, so they know exactly where extra support is needed.

As Ammi Bentley, from Victory College Gympie, shares: “It’s intuitive and caters to individual learning abilities, making it easy to personalise the learning experience. I especially like creating quizzes to assess student learning and effectively place them according to their abilities.”

3. Supporting Different Ways of Teaching and Learning

Every teacher has their own style, and every class is different. Long-term EP use often means moving beyond the basics and finding new ways to support great teaching practice, such as:

  • Personalisation: Easy adjustments so each student is met where they’re at.
  • Mastery and practice: Tools to help students build real confidence and long-term understanding.
  • Professional growth: Many teachers have found EP aligns well with accreditation frameworks like AITSL and NZQA. There is also ongoing PD available to support your school’s specific goals.

“Wow, what an amazing resource, especially for the flipped learning setting,” says Mitchell Lamb, from Willunga High School. “I love how easy it is to set tasks that directly link to the achievement standards! Has been very useful for students who usually do not engage in class and easy to track their progress.”

Beyond day-to-day teaching, the platform is also designed to support growth as a school community. Bronwen Calcraft, from Ravenswood School for Girls, highlights this shared joy: “We have loved using [EP] for a number of years, now. The students enjoy the World Championships, in-school competitions and the interactive activities…We particularly appreciate the new student progress tracking capabilities.”

Looking Ahead Together

2025 has been a big year for EP! We’ve introduced new AI features, FLEXI Assessment, a Safe Exam Browser, EP Create, and more! And there’s more to come in 2026…keep an eye out for School Engagement Reporting!

“Each year the platform seems to become more streamlined with different options for students and teachers,” says Pamela Curtin, from Queensland Academy for Health Sciences.

That steady growth is exactly what EP aims for: listening, learning, and building alongside schools.

A Shared Journey

The value of EP isn’t simply in features. It’s in how schools apply it for their unique classroom needs. Whether that’s using the platform to free up precious teacher time, spark student engagement, or stretch resources, every story is different.
